Delete your account
You can erase your Parampara account and the data attached to it at any time. Deletion is permanent.
In the app — instant
- Open Parampara and tap the settings gear on the home screen.
- Scroll to Legal → Delete my account.
- Confirm. Deletion happens immediately.
By email — if you no longer have the app
Write to gupta.akshay1996@gmail.com from any address, telling us the mobile number you signed up with. We will verify it is really you and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted

| Your sign-in (mobile number) | Deleted from our authentication provider. |
| Your profile and notification tokens | Deleted immediately. |
| A household where you are the only member | Deleted entirely — festival setups, tasks, recipes, activity, and every photo and video in its album. Media backups are purged within 30 days. |
| A household you share with family | You are removed from it. What the family shares — setups, tasks, the album — belongs to the household and stays with the remaining members. Ask us by email if you also want specific shared content removed. |
| Anything on your phone | Wiped by the same action; deleting the app removes the rest. |
No data is retained after deletion except media backups, which storage keeps for up to 30 days before they are purged, and records we are legally required to keep (we currently keep none).
